I contacted Shona on recommendation of a friend, who had seen noticeable improvements in her health thanks to her weekly Pilates class. At this point I was feeling quite disheartened, as although our younger son was almost 3 I still kept getting asked if I was pregnant again. I eventually realised that I had Diastasis recti (separation of the left and right rectus abdominis muscles, which should be connected) due to my two pregnancies. I knew that I was supposed to strengthen the core muscles, but was unsure which exercises would be beneficial and which could cause more damage.

Having suffered for many years with a shoulder injury, which in the past has always prevented me doing any high impacted form of exercise. I found Shona!!!

2 years on and from attending 1 class to now 2 classes a week, I now find myself…pain free with a flatter stomach, better posture and an overall awareness, knowledge and Karma of my body and that is all down to Shona and her unique approach to Pilates and the classes she teaches.

Shona is one of the most passionate, inspirational, personable, motivational, knowledgeable and committed people I’ve ever met and just attending her classes you see all those natural qualities come into their own for the benefit of her clients.  For me being out at work full time and being a Mum, to attend my pilates class twice a week is not only a release where I can get a better toned body and better overall flexibility, the one thing for sure you will have is FUN!
